Thomas Ruck

Thomas Ruck is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in electric vehicle technology and space systems. Currently serving as the Function Owner for Plug and Charge at Porsche AG since June 2023, Thomas is focused on automatic authentication for charging sessions. Prior roles include Requirements Engineer for electric vehicle projects at Porsche AG, and Team Leader for Solar Array Wing Integration at SpaceTech GmbH, where Thomas oversaw mechanisms assembly and testing. Additional experience encompasses project management for lunar space structures, mechanical design engineering for space hardware, and contributions to e-mobility projects. Thomas holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, complemented by an exchange semester at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
