Michael Zhang

Michael Zhang has a strong background in real estate investment and development. Michael currently serves as the Head of Alternative Investment at China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited, where they manage a portfolio of real assets exceeding 5 billion USD. In this role, they oversee teams responsible for real estate, infrastructure, private equity, and public market equity. Prior to their current position, Zhang held the role of Chief of Real Estate Investment and Development at Explore the potential properties and lands. Michael has also worked as an Executive Assistant at Tactful Building Company Limited and as a Project Manager at Hanbroad Commercial Investment Management Co., Ltd. Zhang began their career as an Assistant Manager of the Planning Department at Chinaland Property Group. Throughout their career, they have been involved in various aspects of real estate investment, including conducting feasibility and financial analyses, valuation, marketing, and asset allocation.

Michael Zhang completed their Bachelor's degree in International Economic from Peking University from 2003 to 2006. Michael then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Real Estate at the University of Greenwich from 2010 to 2012.
