Cynthia Choi

Cynthia Choi is an accomplished leader in the nonprofit sector with extensive experience in advancing philanthropic initiatives, particularly within the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. Currently serving as Co-Director at Chinese for Affirmative Action since March 2016, Cynthia previously held significant roles at Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP) for nearly a decade, where responsibilities included overseeing funder partnerships and leading fundraising strategies. Additional experience includes positions as Interim Executive Director at Khmer Girls In Action, Program Officer & Regional Manager at The California Endowment, Co-Director at MultiCultural Collaborative, and Program Developer at Asian Law Caucus. Cynthia holds a Bachelor's degree in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
