Laura Lee

Laura Lee is currently the Treasurer at Chinese Mutual Aid Association. Laura has over 10 years of experience in business management, project coordination, strategic partnerships, marketing, and event planning.

Previously, Laura worked for the United States Department of Defense as the Chief of Agricultural Development and Cultural Affairs Adviser. In this role, they were responsible for liaising with NATO Headquarters International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and mentoring Afghan Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation & Livestock (MAIL) Management Staff. Laura was also a key member of USAID and USDA transition teams.

Before their work in the government sector, Laura was a Senior Brand Marketing Manager at Aquarium ArtWalk and a Strategic Partnerships, Business Relations, Marketing & Events Consultant at VALKOVAcreatives | Consulting.

Laura has a passion for international relations and cross-cultural communication. Laura is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Laura Lee studied business and marketing at Indian River State College. Afterward, they pursued a career in advertising and graphic design at Palm Beach State College. Laura then became certified by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums in Wild Game And Bird Breeder (Class A & B), WILD FLORIDA - BLACK BEARS, and Mammal Education & Conservation.
