Shakemore Chinofunga

Shakemore Chinofunga has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Their most recent position was as the Executive Director of Information and Communication Technology at Chinhoyi University of Technology, starting in February 2020. Prior to that, they served as the ICT Deputy Director from May 2019 to February 2020. Shakemore also held the role of Technical Services Manager at the university from October 2016 to May 2019, where they were responsible for managing the university's technical infrastructure and implementing computer network strategies.

Before joining the university, Shakemore worked at DaSoftNet Business as the Technical Director from September 2016 to January 2018. Shakemore also gained experience as a Senior Software Developer at RealFin Global from May 2010 to May 2011. Prior to that, they worked as an Analyst Programmer at Technical Systems Consultancy from August 2006 to May 2010.

Shakemore Chinofunga's education history begins in 1998 when they attended Silveira High School. Shakemore completed their high school education in 1999. In 2002, they enrolled at Rupare High School for a year. After completing their secondary education, Shakemore went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Information Systems at Midlands State University from 2004 to 2007. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at the National University of Science and Technology (ZW) in 2013 for a Master of Science degree in Information Systems, which they completed in 2015. Shakemore's academic journey continued when they joined Binary University in 2017 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Technology with a specialization in Sustainable Information Technology. Shakemore is expected to complete their doctoral studies in 2022.
