Muhammad Shafiq

Muhammad Shafiq is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in geoscience and engineering. Currently serving as a Field Engineer at Geoscience Engineering & Testing, INC. since June 2021, Muhammad has also held the position of Wellsite Geologist at Chinook Consulting Services Ltd and HH Consulting Services Ltd since January 2010 and 2009, respectively. Expertise includes the visual and microscopic examination of geological samples, estimation of porosity, and the management of gas detectors. Previous roles include Project Manager and Geotechnical Engineer at ARA Engineering Ltd from April 2013 to December 2019, and Water Treatment Engineer/Environmental Engineer at Rya Wastewater Treatment Plant in 2002-2003, focusing on wastewater analysis and treatment. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and two degrees in Applied Geology from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan.
