Jimmy Tejada, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience. Jimmy began their career in 2009 as a Lead at Gap Inc. where they were promoted to Assistant Manager and then Assistant General Manager. In this role, they developed and executed a recruiting, hiring and training plan to meet staffing goals for the second-highest volume store in the Miami District. Jimmy also conducted district-wide training for 100+ new hires during peak season, in addition to training employees at home store. Jimmy executed the day-to-day performance management of associates and provided any necessary corrective actions up to and including termination. Jimmy also worked in conjunction with business partners to investigate any employee complaints, conflicts, and violations of policy & procedures.

Chip City began in Astoria, Queens opening their first bakery in July 2017. Chip City created a signature 5.5-ounce cookie that is served warm making it a chewy & gooey experience. It was a hit with the customers, and they formed lines daily at the Astoria bakery to purchase the cookies. Later sharing their love of the unique Chip City cookie experience on social media making the company go viral. Chip City now offers over 40 unique cookie creations with a daily rotating menu. It has since expanded to a total of 14 locations throughout New York, and growing !
