Jimmy Tejada, SHRM-CP

Jimmy Tejada, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience. Jimmy began their career in 2009 as a Lead at Gap Inc. where they were promoted to Assistant Manager and then Assistant General Manager. In this role, they developed and executed a recruiting, hiring and training plan to meet staffing goals for the second-highest volume store in the Miami District. Jimmy also conducted district-wide training for 100+ new hires during peak season, in addition to training employees at home store. Jimmy executed the day-to-day performance management of associates and provided any necessary corrective actions up to and including termination. Jimmy also worked in conjunction with business partners to investigate any employee complaints, conflicts, and violations of policy & procedures.

In 2018, Jimmy Tejada, SHRM-CP joined Humana as a Talent Acquisition Representative.

Most recently, in 2021, Jimmy Tejada, SHRM-CP joined Chip City as both the Chief Human Resources Officer & Partner and Human Resources Generalist.

Jimmy Tejada obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Iona University in 2009. In 2021, they obtained the SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
