Tom Evans

Tom Evans is the current Chief Technology Officer at Chip Financial. Tom has held this position since February 2021.

Previously, Tom was the Head of Product and Engineering Quality and Developer Experience at 10x Future Technologies from June 2019 to February 2021. In this role, they were responsible for shaping the engineering approach across the organization and building a set of enabling teams.

Before that, Tom worked as a Software Development Manager at Amazon from April 2017 to June 2019. In this role, they managed the team responsible for the customer browsing and search experience on living room devices.

Tom began their career as a Team Leader - Payments Systems at Ocado Technology from February 2016 to April 2017.

Tom Evans completed a BSc in Computer Science from Royal Holloway, University of London. Tom also attended Bishop of Llandaff High School.
