Ilene Eskenazi

Ilene Eskenazi has a strong work background in the legal and human resources fields. Ilene has held various executive roles in several companies, including Chipotle Mexican Grill, where they served as the Chief Human Resources Officer starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Member of the Board of Directors at a.k.a. Brands. From 2020 to 2023, they worked at Petco as the Chief Legal Officer and CHRO, overseeing the legal and human resources departments. Previous to that, they were the Global General Counsel and Chief Human Resources Officer at Boardriders (formerly Quiksilver, Inc.) from 2016 to 2020. Ilene has also served as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Vistamar School from 2016 to 2019. Before their time at Boardriders, they held the position of Chief Legal Officer and SVP of Talent Operations & Performance at True Religion Brand Jeans from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they were the General Counsel and Vice President of Human Resources at Red Bull North America, Inc. from 2008 to 2013. Additionally, they held the role of Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at The Wonderful Company from 2002 to 2008. Their career began as a Corporate Associate at Skadden Arps from 1997 to 2002.

Ilene Eskenazi obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Michigan, starting in 1990 and completing their studies in 1994. Ilene then pursued their Juris Doctor (JD) degree at the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law from 1994 to 1997.
