Charles Palmer began their career in healthcare as a Client Relationship Executive at Cerner Corporation in 2007. In this role, they were responsible for managing and developing relationships with Cerner's clients. Charles was promoted to Senior Director in April 2018 and served as the interim Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Einstein Healthcare Network. In this role, they drove technology strategy and operational management for a large multi-site health system.
In July 2014, Charles Palmer became the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Nanticoke Health Systems in Seaford, Delaware. In this role, they were responsible for all IT strategy and operations supporting a 100-bed community hospital, physician network, and immediate care centers. Nanticoke Health Systems is a progressive hospital system that incorporates state-of-the-art clinical systems from a variety of system vendors including Cerner and McKesson. The hospital has received Meaningful Use Stage 2, HIMSS Analytics 6, and 2015, 2016, & 2017 "Most Wired" recognition.
