Vladimir Carrasco is currently the Deputy Director of External Affairs at CHIRLA. Prior to this, they worked as an Engagement Manager at NEO Philanthropy from January 2021 to November 2021. In this role, they worked alongside various organizations to create a policy proposal for a people-centered, just, and humane immigration system. From July 2019 to November 2020, Vladimir worked as an Analyst on the Biden for President campaign. And prior to that, they served as a Collegiate Board Member at the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault from December 2018 to July 2019, conducting research on sexual violence issues on college campuses and composing a comprehensive report on what is needed to address the issue. Vladimir has also served as a Board Member on the Rutgers End Sexual Violence Committee from September 2018 to May 2019 and as an Intern in the Office of Senator Cory Booker from August 2018 to December 2018.
Vladimir Carrasco is a bachelor's degree candidate in political science and public policy at Rutgers University. Vladimir is also certified in bystander intervention from the Rutgers Office of Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance.
