Barbara Kalek- Niekurzak

Barbara Kalek-Niekurzak serves as the Regulatory & Food Safety Leader at Chivas Brothers since July 2022, leading the food safety system to meet legal and customer requirements. Previously, Barbara held the role of Quality Analyst, collaborating with Vatting and Engineering Teams to address quality issues through data and trend analysis. Prior experience includes serving as a Quality Technician at Angus Dundee Distillers PLC, conducting various analyses to ensure product quality and compliance. Barbara's background also includes a role as an Inspector in the Environment Protection Department, where responsibilities encompassed environmental impact assessments and client interactions. Education includes a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and an HND in Chemical Process Technology from Forth Valley College.
