Yasmine Ben Abdessalem

Yasmine Ben Abdessalem is currently serving as the Advocacy Coordinator at CHOICE for Youth & Sexuality, a position held since September 2023. As a Freelance Columnist and Media Strategist since April 2017, Yasmine has contributed to various publications, including Nour Magazine, Khamsa5, Mosaiko Mag, and Huffington Post, focusing on topics such as culture, fashion, and society. Yasmine's recent experiences include a Digital Storytelling Residency at Europeana and internships at the World Press Photo Foundation and UNDP, where Yasmine focused on data collection and research related to the MENA region. Yasmine has also held positions with the International Criminal Court and European Horizons. Academically, Yasmine holds a Master of Arts in New Media and Digital Culture and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam, along with a French Baccalauréat from Lycée Pierre Mendès France in Tunis.
