Darrin Smith

Darrin Smith is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in mobile and application architecture. As the Principal Enterprise Architect at Choice Hotels International since March 2022, Darrin leads innovative solutions and strategies. Prior to this, Darrin served as a Senior Engineering Architect at Hagerty, focusing on cross-platform mobile app development and cloud solutions. Darrin also held significant roles at Hilton Worldwide as Lead Mobile Architect, and at American Airlines as Principal Application Architect, where Darrin directed the Android development group. Darrin's early career includes positions at ValuD Consulting, Southwest Airlines, OraMetrix, Fujitsu, and EDS. Darrin holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Finance from West Virginia University, earned between 1984 and 1989.
