Steve Smith McIob

Steve Smith MCIOB has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Steve most recently worked at Choice Support as the Head of Technical Services starting in April 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Amicus Horizon (now Optivo) as a Project Surveyor from July 2015 to April 2020. Steve also held the position of Strategic Asset Manager at Medway Council from December 2013 to July 2015. From April 2010 to November 2013, they worked as a Construction Manager at MHS Commercial Services Ltd. Before that, they worked at MHS Commercial Services Ltd as a Project Manager from 2005 to 2010 and as a Contracts Supervisor from 2003 to 2005. Steve has also worked as a Contracts Supervisor and Carpenter during their self-employed period from 1999 to 2003. Steve'searly career started as a Carpenter and Joiner at R Corben & Son from 1981 to 1989, and they later worked as a Retail Manager & Buyer at Hubble & Freeman Ltd from 1989 to 1999.

Steve Smith MCIOB completed their education in construction management at Mid Kent College. In 2004, they obtained a CIOB Level 4 Certificate in Site Management. In the following year, they pursued a CIOB Level 4 Diploma in Site Management. Finally, from 2005 to 2007, Steve achieved an NVQ Level 5 in Construction Management at Mid Kent College.
