Brian Curin is currently a Board Director at ChopValue, but they have an extensive background in the retail industry. Brian previously served as President and Co-Founder of Flip Flop Shops from August 2007 to February 2018. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of the brand, including global retail operations, franchise development, brand direction, media relations, ecommerce, alternative revenue channels, legal, inventory & merchandising strategy, seasonal planning, real estate & site selection, and overall strategic direction. In 2015, they led the acquisition of Flip Flop Shops by Cherokee Global Brands. Over the past two years, they have accelerated the global growth of the company, launched the digital platform, developed and took to market the first private label footwear brand for the concept, developed alternative revenue categories and channels for growth, and delivered positive system-wide same store sales comps during one of the most challenging retail climates in the history of North America.

Brian Curin has a degree in marketing and brand management from Columbia College Chicago, and also has a certification in Spanish/Latin American business from Eco-Escuela, San Andres, Guatemala. Brian has also completed the Management Action Program from Karass Negotiating.
