Leslie Passante

Leslie Passante has worked in the software engineering industry since 2007. Leslie began their career at The Poynter Institute as an Interactive Learning Assistant Producer and Interactive Learning Fellow. In 2011, they joined The Washington Post as a Web Developer and was later promoted to Senior Web Developer. In 2015, Passante moved to Fugue, Inc. as a Senior Web Engineer and was later promoted to Managing Principal Web Engineer. In 2020, they joined Chord Commerce as a Staff Engineer. At Chord, Passante works on commerce-as-a-service software that helps enhance businesses by providing cutting-edge headless commerce technology and access to meaningful first-party data.

Leslie Passante obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication and Multimedia Design from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007. In December 2015, they were certified as a ScrumMaster by the Scrum Alliance.
