Cory Gilbert

Cory Gilbert is a highly experienced engineer specializing in drilling and business development within the petroleum industry. Currently serving as a Sr Staff Engineer in Business Development at Chord Energy since July 2022, Cory has held multiple senior engineering roles focused on drilling and development planning. Prior experience at Oasis Petroleum spanned from June 2014 to July 2022, where Cory advanced through various positions, including Sr Engineer in both Drilling and Completions, and gained valuable field experience as a Rig Site Supervisor. Cory earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, completing studies between 2011 and 2014.
