Melissa Folz

Melissa Folz, P.E., currently serves as the Managing Director of Non Op and Managing Director of Production Engineering and Optimization at Chord Energy, roles held since July 2022. Folz has extensive experience in the energy sector, including positions such as Senior Production Manager and Reservoir Engineering Manager at Oasis Petroleum, where contributions included overseeing production operations and project assessments. Involvement with professional organizations includes mentorship with the Women’s Energy Network Houston and being a Board Member at Permex Petroleum Corporation. Folz's early career features significant roles at Southwestern Energy and Sabine Oil & Gas, focusing on production engineering and completions in various formations.
