Gema Reyna has more than 20 years of experience in various roles related to finance systems, business analysis, and software development. Gema is currently working as a Finance Systems Specialist at Chorus NZ Limited since 2021. Previously, they worked at Sabormex S.A de C.V for 16 years, where they held the positions of Senior Business Analyst and Business Analyst. In these roles, they were responsible for analyzing functional requirements and implementing efficient technical solutions in SAP systems. Gema utilized ABAP programming, developed business intelligence solutions, and managed SAP user authorization. Gema also followed PMI standards and ASAP methodology for risk reduction and cost optimization. Before that, they worked at Ware HS Solutions as a Software Developer, specializing in inventory management and other related tasks. Gema's career began as a System Analyst at the Museo Nacional de Antropología in 1997.
Gema Reyna holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Universidad Latinoamericana, S.C. Gema obtained this degree between 2000 and 2002. In 2012, Gema completed a Post-graduate Diploma in Project Management of Information Technology and Communications from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universidad Latinoamericana, S.C. from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, Gema Reyna has obtained certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in September 2015.
