Jonno Plant

Jonno Plant has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jonno currently holds the position of Senior Commercial Manager at Chorus NZ Limited. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director/Commercial Strategist at Swirl Creations Limited.

Jonno's previous experience includes roles such as Head of Strategic Sourcing - Technology and Acting Head of Strategic Sourcing - Technology at Bank of New Zealand, where they were responsible for developing sourcing strategies, overseeing end-to-end sourcing activities, and managing key technology stakeholders. Jonno's earlier experience includes roles such as Global Category Manager at ANZ, where they developed industry sector strategies and supplier sourcing strategies, and Category Manager at Department of Internal Affairs. Jonno also worked as a Vendor Delivery Manager at NZ Police, where they were responsible for managing ICT vendors and telecommunications products and services.

Jonno Plant completed their MCIPS degree in Procurement and Supply Chain from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, starting in 2018 and finishing in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Comm degree in Management and Information Systems from Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) from 1997 to 2000. Jonno also attended Nelson College from 1983 to 1987, but it is not specified if they obtained a degree or field of study from there. Additionally, they have acquired additional certifications, including MCIPS from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply in March 2021 and "Establishing Credibility as a Speaker" from LinkedIn in January 2020.
