Steve Pettigrew

Steve Pettigrew has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Steve started their career at BAE SYSTEMS in 1988, where they served as the Director of Parliamentary Relations until 2003. Steve then joined Telecom New Zealand as the Communications Manager for ICT from 2004 to 2006. After that, they worked at Telecom Wholesale as the Head of Communications from 2006 to 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they served as the National Marketing & Communications Manager at KPMG New Zealand. Currently, they are working at Chorus NZ Limited, starting as the Stakeholder Communications Manager from 2014 to 2020, and now holds the position of Head of External Communications.

Steve Pettigrew obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Management Studies from The University of Waikato, from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed a BSc (Hons) in Information Systems from The Manchester Metropolitan University, from 1990 to 1994. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Twitter Essential Training from LinkedIn in May 2020.
