Carmen Mendez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Carmen started their career as a Sales Associate at Mapfre Seguros Generales in 2003 and worked there until 2007. After that, they joined Cap Cana as a Contract and Sales Coordinator, where they successfully negotiated and closed deals worth over $100 million. Carmen also trained the sales team and built a strong network of buyers. In 2010, Carmen became an International Purchase Coordinator at SOFRATESA. Carmen then moved on to the Dominican Republic Export and Investment Center in 2013, where they worked as the New Business Deputy Manager. In this role, Carmen focused on attracting foreign direct investment to the Dominican Republic and coordinated with various institutions and embassy staff. Finally, Carmen joined Chosen Foods, LLC in 2015 as the Sales Director. In this position, they were responsible for developing food sales in the North East and South East coast of the USA, implementing new sales techniques, managing brokers and distributors, and analyzing data. Under their leadership, the region achieved a 200% growth compared to the previous year.

Carmen Mendez earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Universidad Catolica Santo Domingo from 2003 to 2009. Carmen then pursued a Master's degree in Commercial Direction at Universidad APEC from 2011 to 2013.
