Eleanor Green

Eleanor Green serves as the Founding Dean of Lyon College School of Veterinary Medicine since 2023. With a diverse career, Eleanor holds positions as Senior Advisor and Consultant at Animal Policy Group, LLC since July 2020, and as Chief Medical Officer and Advisor at CHOU2 PHARMA since July 2021. As a Veterinary Consultant under Eleanor Green DVM and Vice President at Iron Horse Consulting & Iron Horse Farm, LLC since 2019, Eleanor emphasizes leadership development and collaboration within veterinary and equine sectors, focusing on priorities such as DEI, animal welfare, and veterinary education. Previous leadership roles include Carl B. King Dean of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University, Department Chair and Chief of Staff at the University of Florida, Department Head and Hospital Director at the University of Tennessee, and Equine Clinician Educator at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Eleanor Green earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Florida.
