Emediong Akpan

Emediong Akpan has a wealth of work experience in software engineering and development. In 2021, they began working as a Frontend Developer for Easysize and a QA Analyst for Chow420. In 2019, they began working as a Software Engineer for Dammy Memorial Hospital. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer and Junior Software Engineer for AdNovum Informatik AG. As a Junior Software Engineer, they were exposed to working with various languages like Java, Javascript, Typescript, Swift and SQL, as well as technologies like Spring, Angular, Gradle and Git. Emediong also led some inter-project meetings and provided 3rd level support to customers. Additionally, they gained experience in intercultural communication by working with team members from different locations (Switzerland and Vietnam).

Emediong Akpan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics between 2011 and 2016. Emediong also holds various certifications, including CS50's Computer Science for Business Professionals from Harvardx on edX, Disruptive Technologies for Professionals from Queen's University, and Marketing Innovative Products and Services from edX.
