James K. began their career in 2013 as a Project Manager Business Development for Citadel Cleaning Services/ Carbonated Solutions. In 2016, they were hired as a Regional Vice President at Voltstreet Energy Advisors, where they were responsible for new key clients retention, conversing with C-Suite executives, mentoring new team members, and leading the team to achieve the company goals for targeted areas. In 2017, they became the Marketing Manager at Dallas Window Cleaning Supply, a family run business. In 2020, James K. became the Procurement Representative at Array Medical, where they were responsible for buying and selling medical lasers. In 2021, they were hired as the Business Operations Manager at Cloth and Glaze Painting Studio. Finally, in 2022, James K. was hired as the SMB Account Executive at Chowly, Inc., Director of Operations And Business Development at Boost Virtual Concepts, and Director of Virtual Brands and Business Development at Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc.

James K. attended Howard College from 2006 to 2009, studying Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. During their time at Howard College, the school won the Baseball National Champions.
