Chris Bennett

Chris Bennett has a strong background in engineering and web development. Chris worked as the Senior Director of Engineering at ChowNow, where they played a critical role in the company's growth and led the development of a successful payment infrastructure. Prior to ChowNow, Chris worked as a Web Developer at Eventup, responsible for improving site stability and implementing business process workflow. Chris also served as the Lead Backend Developer at Nettle, where they oversaw the architecture and development of a platform supporting an iOS application. Chris has experience with various technologies such as Python, Django, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and more. Chris started their career as a Web Developer at Eventful, where they worked on REST API interfaces and search implementation. Chris has a strong educational background, having interned at UC San Diego during their studies.

Chris Bennett received a B.A. degree in Communication and Computer Science from UC San Diego in the years 2004 to 2009. In addition, Chris obtained a certification as a Private Pilot - Airplane, Single Engine, Land from the Federal Aviation Administration in the year 2016.
