Roya Paydarfar

Roya Paydarfar has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design. Roya is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at Chptr since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Design Mentor at Designlab starting in May 2022. Roya also worked as a Product Designer at ClosedLoop.ai from February 2022 to June 2023. Before that, they were a Product Designer at Zero (zerogrocery.com) from January 2021 to January 2022.

Roya Paydarfar has also demonstrated their entrepreneurial skills as the Founder & UX Researcher at Klari from February 2020 to June 2021. In this role, they conducted research, created UX/UI designs, and collaborated with a team of designers and copy editors. Roya also taught tech-learning to learners and trained new Klari coaches.

Roya gained valuable project management experience at Scout Studio as a Project Lead from January 2020 to June 2020. Here, they implemented agile methodologies, facilitated client meetings, and delegated deliverables for each sprint.

Earlier in their career, Roya Paydarfar worked as an Interaction Designer at Ronik from July 2019 to January 2020, where they collaborated on interaction and product design projects. Roya also worked as a Digital Media Co-op at Amazon Robotics from January 2018 to June 2018, creating visual assets for training videos and marketing materials.

Roya Paydarfar's earlier experience includes working as a Marketing Intern at Saratech from April 2017 to September 2017, where they redesigned the company's website and managed social media accounts. Roya also worked as a Graphic Artist at The Leotard Boutique, LLC from July 2016 to November 2016, creating graphics for the company's website and social media.

Roya Paydarfar received a Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design from Northeastern University. Roya attended Northeastern University from 2015 to 2020. Before their undergraduate studies, Roya graduated from Hanover High School in 2015, earning their High School Diploma. Additionally, they obtained two certifications: "Design Aesthetics for the Web" and "Introduction to Web Design and Development" from Lynda.com in August and July of 2017, respectively.
