Caroline Turner

Caroline Turner is a dedicated school counselor with extensive experience in providing support to students with IEP and 504 plans. Currently serving at Christa McAuliffe Charter School since September 2021, Caroline focuses on individual counseling and developing lesson plans tailored to specific goals while tracking attendance and implementing interventions to reduce absenteeism. Prior experience includes serving as the sole school counselor for approximately 300 middle school students at the NYC Department of Education from August 2017 to September 2021 and for 200 middle school students at Challenge Preparatory Charter School from August 2016 to August 2017. Additional experience includes a school counseling internship, administrative roles at NYU School of Law and NYU Stern School of Business, and various positions in educational support and retail. Caroline holds a Master's Degree in Clinical, Counseling, and Applied Psychology from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from UCLA.
