Ashley Ellis

Ashley Ellis has diverse experience in volunteer recruitment and community development. Currently serving as a Volunteer Recruiter for the Christian Appalachian Project since October 2019, Ashley previously contributed to the Peace Corps as a Youth, Family, and Community Development Volunteer, where a community diagnostic was completed and programs for youth were developed in Tamayo. Ashley also served as a Rural Education Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia, teaching English and leading clubs focused on sex education, health issues, and life skills. Earlier, Ashley worked as an Executive Assistant at Embrace United Methodist Church, managing operations and communications. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in International Development from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Northern Kentucky University.
