Emily Cummins

Emily Cummins is a CPA, CIA, CPCU, and CISSP with a diverse work experience in risk management, underwriting administration, tax, and compliance. Emily is currently serving as the Director of Risk Management at The Christian Broadcasting Network since October 2019. Before that, they worked as an Underwriting Administration Specialist at Church Mutual Insurance Company from November 2018 to September 2019. Emily also has extensive experience in tax and risk management, having held various roles at a nonprofit organization from July 2007 to November 2018, including Managing Director, Director, and Assistant Director. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Vice President and Planned Giving Advisor at Wachovia Corp from 2002 to 2006, and as an Accountant / Associate at Ernst & Young from 1997 to 2001.

Emily Cummins, CPA, CIA, CPCU, CISSP has a Bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University, a Master's degree from The George Washington University, and an MBA from George Mason University - Costello College of Business. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained various certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and OSHA 30-Hour certification.
