Ryan Billingsley

Ryan Billingsley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and financial policy within the banking sector. Currently serving as the Director of the Division of Risk Management Supervision at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since May 2021, Ryan has also held the positions of Deputy Director of Capital Markets and Accounting Policy and Corporate Expert within the same organization. Prior to this, Ryan worked at BNY as the Executive Manager of Government Relations and held various roles at FDIC, including Corporate Expert in the Capital Markets Branch and Associate Director for Complex Financial Institutions. Ryan's earlier career includes key positions at Fannie Mae as a Senior Risk Analyst, at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Finance Corporation as Assistant Vice President of Credit Risk, and at BB&T as a Credit Analyst and Business Services Officer. Ryan holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
