Casey Sanders has a diverse work experience in the fields of human resources and sales. They began their career as a Sales Manager at The Southwestern Company from 2002 to 2006, where they managed a team and oversaw sales of study guides, software, and children's books. From 2006 to 2018, Casey worked as a Human Resources Consultant & Owner at Heritage Companies. In 2018, they joined Christian Care Ministry as an HR Compensation & Benefits Manager until 2019. Casey then took on the role of Director of Total Rewards, overseeing multiple HR functions, and also briefly served as Interim Head of HR in 2020.
Casey Sanders pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia between the years 2000 and 2004. In addition to their formal education, Casey has obtained several certifications in various fields. These certifications include the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI, which was achieved in February 2018. They also have certifications in Strategic HR Business Partner (sHRBP), Change Management for HR (CMHR), Strategic Workforce Planning, Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategic HR Leadership (SHRL), and Balancing Multiple Roles as a Leader from institutions such as the Human Capital Institute and LinkedIn. Casey's most recent certification is the Strategic HR Leadership (SHRL) certification from the Human Capital Institute, obtained in March 2023.
