Umar Aulia is an accomplished academic and emergency medical professional currently serving as an Academic Associate (Research) in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, since July 2024. Umar has extensive experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with Christiana Fire Company, Inc., and previously with Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, responding to emergency calls and providing vital medical care according to state protocols. In addition to clinical roles, Umar has held leadership positions, including Editor-in-Chief at The Princeton Medical Review and Founder & President of Princeton Emergency Medicine, managing diverse teams and initiatives. Academic involvement includes serving as a Peer Representative and committee member at Princeton University, contributing to various student governance and health committees, while also participating in impactful research internships at One Health Trust and Children's National Hospital. Umar holds a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University, majoring in Public and International Affairs, following a high school diploma from Tower Hill School.
