Shanice Bedassie

Shanice Bedassie is a Pathologists' Assistant currently working at ChristianaCare since January 2024, with prior experience at Massachusetts General Hospital, SHARP Memorial Hospital, and Keck Medicine of USC. In these roles, Shanice has developed expertise in the gross examination of specimens, particularly in transplant and GU, GI, and Head & Neck cases, as well as managing slides for frozen section consultation. With a background in healthcare innovation at HITLAB and research assistance at Northeastern University, Shanice combines scientific knowledge with practical skills, supported by a Master of Science in Pathology from Rosalind Franklin University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Northeastern University.
