Alyssa Pourtabib-Villalobos Ms

Alyssa Pourtabib-Villalobos MS, PA(ASCP) is an experienced Pathologists' Assistant currently working at ProPath since April 2018. Prior to this role, Alyssa served as the Lead Pathologists' Assistant at Parkland Hospital from June 2015 to April 2018 and held the position of Pathologists' Assistant at Pathology Associates P.C. from April 2012 to May 2015, where major contributions included developing surgical dissection techniques and grossing over 20,000 cases annually. Alyssa completed a Pathologists' Assistant Student internship at Emory Healthcare, focusing on organ dissection and histology techniques. Additionally, Alyssa volunteered at Heartland Blood Centers, gaining hands-on experience in various blood bank processes. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Pathologists' Assistant Studies from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Forensic Chemistry from Western Illinois University.
