Vinay Maheshwari

Vinay Maheshwari serves as the Chair of the Department of Medicine and Physician Executive for Acute Care at ChristianaCare, where responsibilities include overseeing critical care delivery and driving optimal patient outcomes. With a background in leadership positions such as Vice Chair and Director of Intensive Medicine, Maheshwari has extensive experience in acute operations and medical critical care. In addition, Maheshwari is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Jefferson Medical College and has previously held roles involving medical directorships in respiratory therapy and ICU quality. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Health Care Delivery Science from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Doctor of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, alongside a Bachelor's in Political Science and Government from Virginia Commonwealth University.
