Michele Bergonzi

Michele Bergonzi, as Executive Vice President of Account Management, leads Christie Campus Health’s Account Management services. She focuses on developing strategies to further enhance the services Christie Campus provides to their higher ed institutions that use CCH’s mental health services to enhance and extend their on-campus counseling centers.

Michele’s expansive career in managed care and health care spans 30+ years, with 20 years of experience directly involved in student health insurance. Prior to joining CCH, she was Senior Vice President of Account Management for Gallagher Student Health & Special Risk, where she directed account management services to a diverse portfolio of elite private colleges, large public colleges, state university systems, and consortiums, and was directly responsible for managing Gallagher’s key, strategic accounts. Under her leadership the company experienced a 98% retention rate year over year.

Michele built a diverse career within the health care services and insurance market, from her first position with a start-up managed care organization, to the John Hancock Group Long-Term Care division, The MEDSTAT Group was launching a consumer and client satisfaction survey, and immediately prior to CCH with Gallagher Student Health (formally Koster Insurance) where Michele established herself as a leader and consultant in student health.
