Laura H. Mathis has a diverse work experience in the art industry, starting with their current role as the Vice President, Specialist, and Head of Sale for 19th Century European Art at Christie's since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as an Associate Vice President and Specialist for the same department from April 2018 to April 2023, and as an Associate Specialist from August 2015 to April 2018.

Before joining Christie's, Laura worked as a Freelance Writer and Researcher as an Independent Scholar from August 2014 to August 2015. Laura H. was also the Head of Research and Assistant to the Chairman at Richard L. Laura H. Mathis completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History at New York University from 2004 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in 17th Century Baroque Classicism at the Courtauld Institute of Art, U. of London from 2013 to 2014.
