James Howard is an experienced leader and advocate for veterans and individuals with disabilities, currently serving as the President and Founder of REACHcycles since May 2014, where the mission focuses on providing mobility and independence through adapted cycles. In addition to this role, James coordinates the Military Veterans Program for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation and leads Veterans and Athletes United, which empowers veterans from all wars. James has a longstanding commitment to volunteer work, including serving as a volunteer with the Paralyzed Veterans of America and as a mentor for the SOCOM Care Coalition. Previously, James held positions such as Family Care Coordinator for the Quality of Life Foundation and Board Member for The Independence Fund. James's military background includes service as a Captain in the US Army, and educational qualifications include a BA in Civil Engineering from the Virginia Military Institute.
