Baxter Vendrick

Baxter Vendrick has extensive experience in alumni engagement and university advancement, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Alumni Engagement at Christopher Newport University since July 2015. Prior roles include Senior Director and Director of Alumni Relations, showcasing a strong commitment to fostering connections with alumni. Vendrick previously held leadership positions at Southern Careers Institute as Executive Director of Program Development and National Director of Career Services at Delta Career Education, where responsibilities included developing career coaching initiatives and managing a national alumni association. Additional roles include consulting work, volunteering as National Chairman of Admissions for the Alumni Council at Hampden-Sydney College, and holding various teaching and communication positions, including Director of Communications at the Norfolk Sheriff's Office. Baxter Vendrick holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from Hampden-Sydney College.
