Scott Nonemaker

Scott Nonemaker is currently serving as the Director of Residence Life and Housing Administration at Christopher Newport University since May 2022. Prior experience includes holding multiple leadership positions such as Dean of Students and Executive Director of Student Living and College Engagement at Utica College from January 2015 to October 2021, and Director of Residence Life at SUNYIT from December 2010 to January 2015. Scott began a career in higher education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as Assistant Director in Residence Life and has also worked in various roles at SUNY Institute of Technology, culminating as Director of College Housing. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Higher Education from Syracuse University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and SUNY Institute of Technology.
