Gena King

Gena King is an experienced healthcare IT leader with a focus on Epic Applications and ambulatory implementations. Currently serving as the Director of Epic Applications at CHRISTUS Health, responsibilities include overseeing the Epic patient access applications and contributing to the Converge project for implementing Epic systems across multiple non-Epic hospital locations. Previously, Gena held the position of Director of Ambulatory Implementations and Connect, managing the transition to EpicCare for over 1000 practices within Christus Trinity Clinic. Gena's extensive experience at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System included roles as Project Manager for Epic Ambulatory and Community Connect, where implementation for 300 physicians across 30 locations was managed, as well as regulatory compliance efforts. Earlier positions included managing clinical systems and serving as a revenue cycle analyst. Gena holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from LeTourneau University.
