Matthew Furlan

Matthew Furlan is an accomplished leader in healthcare and operations management, currently serving as Vice President of Operations Improvement at CHRISTUS Health since October 2019. Previously, Matthew held the position of Vice President of Enterprise Transformation at Sutter Health from 2011 to 2019, where significant contributions included leading a Lean transformation initiative across multiple healthcare facilities. Prior to that role, Matthew was the Chief Operating Officer at ThedaCare, managing two community hospitals and overseeing substantial operational metrics. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Global Operations and Lean Initiatives at Parker Hannifin and as Vice President and General Manager at The HON Company, where leadership in manufacturing and distribution operations was demonstrated. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
