Jason Freimark

Jason Freimark has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Jason is currently working as the Director of Information Technology at Chroma Medicine since March 2022. Previously, they served as the Associate Director, Digital Architect and Lab Business Partner | Sr. Manager IT Infrastructure at Flexion Therapeutics from February 2017 to February 2022. At Flexion Therapeutics, they led a team in designing, configuring, and validating systems and services in a regulated environment.

Before that, Jason worked as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager at Seniorlink from July 2016 to February 2017, where they managed various IT projects for a home-care service company. Jason also held the role of IT Lead at GoodStart Genetics from March 2014 to July 2016, where they oversaw the IT portfolio and ensured compliance with HIPAA and CLIA regulations.

Prior to that, Jason served as a Manager of Systems Operations, Network and Data Center Manager, and IT Security Manager at Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from November 2003 to March 2014. Jason led a group of systems administrators, managed network and data center operations, and ensured IT security.

Before joining Broad Institute, Jason worked as a Network Engineer at Whitehead Institute from 2001 to 2003. Jason also gained experience as a Systems Administrator (Contractor) at IBM's Center for e-Business Innovation in 2001 and as a Desktop Support Specialist at Prevision Marketing from July 2000 to April 2001.

Jason started their career as an AV/Exhibits professional at the Museum of Science, where they worked from 1997 to 2000.

Jason Freimark received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Technology and Production Management from The Ohio State University in 1996.
