Taesun Eom is an experienced leader in RNA technologies and mRNA sciences, currently serving as the Director of RNA Technologies at Chroma Medicine since January 2024. Previously, Taesun held various roles at Beam Therapeutics from January 2022 to November 2023, including Director and Associate Director, where responsibilities included optimization of mRNA components and the design of plasmids for mRNA. Taesun's career also encompassed significant contributions at Skyhawk Therapeutics, focusing on RNA metabolism and assay development, as well as a research assistant professorship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, which involved studying non-protein-coding RNA in neurological disorders. Earlier experience includes work as a Research Associate at Rockefeller University studying neuro-oncology and a graduate student at Albert Einstein College of Medicine specializing in RNA transport. Taesun Eom holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a BS in Biochemistry from Yonsei University.
