Mara Neufeld Rivera has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the field of human resources. Mara is currently serving as the CPO/Head of People & Culture at Chroma Technology Corp., where they provide strategic direction and daily oversight of the corporate HR department. Mara has been recognized for their work with the company, including receiving the Best Place to Work in Vermont Award. Mara has also held positions at SHRM, Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR), and PC Construction Company, where they served as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) & Vice President of Human Resources. Mara has a strong background in strategic planning, employee relations, and organizational development.

Mara Neufeld Rivera, MS, SHRM-SCP (she/her) has a strong educational background in the field of Human Resources Management. Mara completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Resources Management at The New School's Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Drama, Theatre, and Mass Communications from Queens College between 1990 and 1994.

In addition to their academic achievements, Mara Neufeld Rivera has also obtained various certifications in different areas. Mara completed the Mental Health First Aid certification through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in April 2023. In June 2020, they obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification offered by SHRM. Furthermore, they obtained the Korn Ferry Leadership Architect certification from Korn Ferry in May 2010.
