Strategic Account Director, Insurance Business Intelligence At J.d. Power at J.D. Power

Marcus Skerske has extensive work experience in the insurance research industry. Marcus began their career at J.D. Power in 2007 as a Research Associate, where they managed proprietary and syndicated insurance research projects. In this role, they also maintained client relationships and conducted data analysis using advanced Excel skills and software such as SPSS and mTAB Cross-Tabulation.

In 2009, Marcus Skerske was promoted to Research Specialist, responsible for managing insurance-specific research projects with $1.5 million in revenue. Marcus focused on project financials, including cost containment through vendor selection and monitoring labor utilization. Additionally, they utilized offshore production groups to leverage resources.

In 2011, Marcus Skerske became a Research Supervisor, overseeing larger syndicated and proprietary research projects in the US, Canada, and the UK. These projects represented approximately $2.5 million in revenue.

In 2012, Marcus Skerske transitioned to the role of Account Manager in the Global Insurance Practice at J.D. Power. As an Account Manager, they played a vital role in managing relationships with clients and driving business growth.

Most recently, Marcus Skerske held the position of Strategic Account Director in the Insurance Business Intelligence division at J.D. Power. In this role, they served as a director in the Global Insurance Intelligence Practice, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.

Marcus Skerske attended Warren De La Salle Collegiate High School from 1999 to 2003. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business Management with an emphasis on Marketing at Oakland University from 2003 to 2007.
