Ziad Zoghby, MD, MBA, FACP

Ziad Zoghby, MD, MBA, FACP is currently working as a Medical Consultant at ChroniSense Medical since February 2022. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at Mayo Clinic, starting in July 2009 as a Physician and later becoming an Associate Professor in April 2021. Additionally, Ziad served on the Steering Committee Board for Nephrology at Epic starting in June 2019.

Ziad Zoghby, MD, MBA, FACP has an extensive education history. Ziad started their educational journey at Collège Notre-Dame de Jamhour, where they obtained their High School Diploma from 1981 to 1993. Following that, they attended Saint Joseph University of Beirut and earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from 1993 to 2000.

Zoghby then pursued further specialization in Internal Medicine, completing the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Saint Joseph University of Beirut from 2000 to 2001. Ziad continued their medical education at the University of Minnesota, where they engaged in postgraduate studies in Medicine from 2002 to 2006.

Realizing their interest in Nephrology and Hypertension, Ziad Zoghby enrolled in the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, where they focused on this field and obtained a degree in Nephrology and Hypertension from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, during their time at the Mayo Clinic, they pursued a Certificate of Clinical Research from the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, which they completed in 2009.

To diversify their expertise, Zoghby pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2016 to 2020. This program broadened their understanding of business principles and their application in the medical field.

In addition to their formal education, Ziad Zoghby also holds several certifications. Ziad obtained the ABAIM Educational Certification from the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ABAIM) in May 2021. Ziad also holds the Physician Builder certification from Epic, an electronic health records company, which they obtained in July 2020. Furthermore, they recently achieved the Physician Builder: Healthy Planet certification from Epic in November 2022.
