Chris Jacques has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and development. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Software Engineer at Genesee Survey Services, where their responsibilities included bug fixes, interface restructuring, and operational enhancements for existing data processing applications. From 2007 to 2008, they were a Programmer/Analyst at SIGMA Marketing Group, where they created client-facing ASP.NET websites designed to collect, analyze, store, and report customer information and feedback for marketing purposes. From 2008 to 2019, they worked at Johnson & Wales University, where their roles included Manager of Digital Development, Team Lead - Web Development, and Web Developer. During this time, they developed dozens of web sites, applications, and forms on a variety of platforms and technologies throughout the entire lifecycle. Chris also guided the development team in adopting new technologies. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at The Predictive Index, where their roles included Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack and Engineering Team Lead (Software Engineering Manager). During this time, they developed a standalone "macroservice" for an existing PI product, consolidated APIs and business logic into a new independently deployable service, and rewrote the existing development CI/CD pipeline in Github Actions. From 2021 to 2022, they worked at Bowery Valuation as an Engineering Manager and Senior Engineer. During this time, they established a new engineering team, implemented companywide SonarCloud configuration, created a reusable CSAT score component and reporting system, and rewrote existing development CI/CD pipeline in Github Actions. Lastly, they worked at Starburst Labs from 2019 to 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were a key senior development resource for a Fintech startup, focusing on large-scale feature buildouts.

Chris Jacques has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Chris also attempted to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Rochester in 2007 and Johnson & Wales University in 2013, but did not complete either program. In 2015, they obtained a certification in Shaping Up with Angular JS from Code School.
